About Us
Le Silo Bleu (French for The Blue Silo) is a small, family-run, handmade beauty and home fragrance brand based in New York. Founded by Renee, a former media executive who spent years working in the fast-paced world of advertising in New York City, always rushing, always on. The brand's creative direction is shaped with the help of her daughter Hannah, whose own work can be found in the Studio Étoiles boutique right here on the site. She helped bring the Silo to life and helps keep it going whenever Renee travels to France.
A mom, a multitasker, and a longtime lover of France, Renee found that something shifted every time she arrived to the cottage in Normandy. The pace slowed. The air smelled like grass and cows- crisp, sometimes pungent, but pure. It was also so incredibly quiet. There was space and time to just be.
Le Silo Bleu was born from a desire to bring that feeling home to New York- not just for herself, but for anyone who needs a reminder to slow down. Take a pause. Breathe.
The landscape that surrounds the cottage is endlessly generous. Gardens spill over stone walls. Farm fields stretch to the horizon, dotted with grazing animals. And just a short drive away, the Norman coastline- salt air, grey-green water, and that particular kind of peace that only the sea provides. It is a place where nature gives, and where the simplest ingredients- rosemary, sea kelp, and various botanicals grown in rich, abundant soil. become something worth treasuring.

What we make:
Le Silo Bleu offers a growing collection of handcrafted products rooted in that French countryside philosophy- where what goes on your body should be as thoughtful as what goes in it.
- Home Fragrance: Hand-poured soy candles crafted with 100% natural soy wax and lead and zinc-free cotton wicks, in scents inspired by the French countryside and coastline
- Botanical Haircare: Small-batch shampoo bars, conditioner bars, and hair treatments formulated with botanical, natural, and thoughtfully chosen clean ingredients
- Handcrafted Soap: Cold-processed bars made in small batches, requiring a minimum of 4–6 weeks curing time, released on scheduled drop days
- Bath & Body: Sugar scrubs, bath salts, body butters, shower steamers and more, designed to turn ordinary into a moment of restoration
- Men's Care: Coming soon. Beard oil, shave soap, and a face balm crafted with the same small-batch care and clean ingredients as everything we make
- Skincare: Coming soon. A new collection inspired by the marine and botanical offerings of the Norman coast, bringing the same small-batch care and attention to your skin
How we make it:
Everything is handmade, hand-packaged, and hand-labelled by us in our New York studio. We use botanical, natural, and thoughtfully chosen clean ingredients- because what we put on your skin and breathe in matters as much as the experience it creates.
Because everything is made by hand, slight variations from product to product or deviations from photographs are a natural part of the process- and a mark of authenticity.
Light a candle, work up a lather, take a soak or simply enjoy the sunset.
