Argania spinosa

Argan oil is cold-pressed from the kernels of the argan tree, which grows almost exclusively in the Souss Valley of southwestern Morocco. Known as liquid gold, it has been used by Berber women for centuries to nourish skin and hair. Today it is one of the most recognized and beloved oils in both skincare and haircare worldwide.

Rich in oleic and linoleic fatty acids, vitamin E, and polyphenols, argan oil is prized for its ability to condition, add shine, and improve the feel of both skin and hair. At Le Silo Bleu we currently use it across our haircare line, where it contributes its signature silky, sleek finish to every bar.

How It Works

Argan oil spreads easily and lightly coats the hair surface to improve softness, reduce frizz, and enhance shine without a heavy or greasy feel. Its vitamin E content provides antioxidant protection for both skin and hair, while its balanced fatty acid profile makes it suitable for all skin and hair types. It also absorbs readily into the skin and does not leave a residue.
