Collection: Broccoli Seed Oil

Base Oils & Butters

Brassica oleracea italica

Broccoli seed oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the broccoli plant and is one of the most versatile lightweight oils in natural skincare and haircare. Its most distinctive feature is its exceptionally high erucic acid content, an omega-9 fatty acid that gives the oil a silky, non-greasy feel and remarkable frizz-smoothing properties in hair formulas.

Often described as a natural silicone alternative, broccoli seed oil imparts shine and smoothness without the buildup associated with synthetic silicones. In skin formulas it absorbs readily and provides a conditioning, non-comedogenic finish.

How It Works

Erucic acid lightly coats the hair shaft to reduce friction, improve glide, and enhance shine which is why broccoli seed oil is so effective in conditioner bars and hair treatments. In skincare its lightweight texture makes it ideal for face oils and serums where a silky, fast-absorbing finish is desired. It also contains vitamins A, C, and K, which provide additional skin-supporting benefits.
