Aloe vera extract is a concentrated preparation of aloe vera's active compounds - produced by processing and concentrating the inner leaf gel to deliver higher levels of polysaccharides, vitamins, and enzymes than standard aloe juice or gel. While aloe vera juice provides general hydration and soothing support, concentrated aloe extract allows formulators to incorporate meaningful levels of aloe's active compounds at lower usage rates - useful in formulas where water activity needs to be carefully managed.

How It Works

Aloe extract's concentrated acemannan polysaccharides form a protective, moisture-retaining film on the skin and hair surface at lower usage rates than standard aloe preparations. Its concentrated enzyme content supports gentle skin cell renewal, while its vitamins and minerals provide nutritional support to skin cells. Its higher concentration also means it can be used in anhydrous or low-water formulas where standard aloe juice would introduce too much water activity.
