Collection: Cedarwood Atlas Essential Oil
Essential Oils
Cedrus atlantica
Cedarwood Atlas essential oil is steam distilled from the wood of the Atlas cedar,a majestic conifer native to the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and Algeria, growing at elevations between 1,300 and 2,200 meters. One of the oldest aromatics in recorded history, cedar was used in ancient Egypt for embalming, in Mesopotamia for temple incense, and throughout the ancient Mediterranean world as a symbol of strength and longevity. The Atlas cedar is the national emblem of Lebanon, where the closely related cedar of Lebanon once covered vast mountain forests.
Cedarwood Atlas has a warm, woody, slightly sweet balsamic aroma that is deeply grounding and masculine without being heavy. It is one of the most important base notes in natural perfumery and a cornerstone of our men's line.

Skin & Scalp Benefits
Cedarwood's sesquiterpene content, particularly cedrol and cedrene, provides anti-inflammatory and mild antimicrobial properties. It is traditionally used in formulas for oily skin and scalp, where its astringent and balancing properties support a more comfortable, regulated complexion. Its calming aromatic character makes it particularly well suited to men's grooming formulas.
