Eucalyptus essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves of the eucalyptus tree, a fast-growing native of Australia with over 700 species, of which Eucalyptus globulus and Eucalyptus radiata are the most commonly used in aromatherapy and personal care. Globulus has the bolder, more camphoraceous aroma most people associate with eucalyptus, while radiata is softer and more approachable, our preferred choice for skincare and haircare formulas where a gentler profile is appropriate.

Eucalyptus is perhaps most universally recognized as the key ingredient in vapor rubs and cold-care preparations, its airway-clearing, breath-opening properties have made it a household staple across the world.
