Ferulic Acid,Oryza sativa (Rice) Bran

Ferulic acid is a naturally occurring phenolic antioxidant found in the cell walls of plants,particularly in rice bran, oat bran, and the seeds of coffee and apple. FeruliShield is our preferred ferulic acid ingredient,a stabilized, oil-soluble form derived from rice bran that is designed for use in oil-based formulas where standard ferulic acid would not disperse effectively.

Ferulic acid has become one of the most celebrated actives in modern skincare science, valued for its exceptional antioxidant potency and for its ability to dramatically enhance the stability and effectiveness of vitamins C and E when used in combination,a synergy that is well-documented in skincare research.

How It Works

Ferulic acid neutralizes free radicals through a different mechanism than vitamins C and E, allowing the three antioxidants to work synergistically,each protecting the others from degradation while collectively providing broader, more sustained antioxidant coverage than any one ingredient alone.
