Grapeseed oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of wine grapes, a byproduct of the winemaking process that transforms what would otherwise be discarded into one of skincare's most elegant lightweight oils. Rich in linoleic acid, oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs), and vitamin E, it is prized for its exceptionally light texture, its non-comedogenic properties, and its antioxidant-rich character.

At Le Silo Bleu there is something fitting about an oil born from the same viticultural traditions that define the French countryside we have drawn so much inspiration from. Grapeseed oil brings a quietly French sensibility to our formulas, light, refined, and effective without excess.

How It Works

Grapeseed oil's high linoleic acid content makes it particularly well suited to oily or congestion-prone skin, where linoleic acid deficiency in sebum is a common contributing factor to breakouts. Its OPC content provides some of the most potent antioxidant protection found in any plant oil. It absorbs rapidly without a greasy residue, making it an ideal base for facial oils and lightweight serums.
