Sweet orange essential oil is cold-pressed from the peel of the sweet orange, one of the most widely cultivated fruits in the world, with origins in Southeast Asia and now grown from Brazil to the Mediterranean. Its warm, bright, approachable citrus aroma is one of the most universally loved of all essential oil scents, cheerful, sweet, and immediately comforting in a way that more complex citrus oils are not.
In our formulas sweet orange contributes a warm, accessible citrus note that grounds and softens more complex blends. Its high limonene content makes it naturally mood-lifting, and its warm character pairs beautifully with spices, vanillas, and woody base notes in our candle and soap formulas.
