Hydrosols & Extracts

Hydrosols are the aromatic waters co-produced during steam distillation. They are gentler than essential oils, carrying water-soluble plant compounds in a form that can be applied directly to skin. Extracts are concentrated preparations that deliver higher levels of active botanical compounds than dried herb preparations alone.
